U12 Go Games 2017 – Geographical Area Group Blitzes plus All County Feile   U12

Home Club Provide Referee’s. No need to ocial refs.

2 to 4 teams per Blitz. You are welcome to invite an out-of-county team to make up 4 teams.

If there are 3 teams, host team plays first and last match.

For a 4-team blitz, create 2 pitches down the length of a field. U12 should be 90 to 105m long. Most Club pitches are 80m wide. Playing across club fields at u12 is too short.

Oaly Camogie u12 Feile

The Official Guide states that there is no provision to award trophies for winners at u12, unless all clubs are provided with Go Games Blitzes before any such competition occurs. It was decided to abandon the u12 league for 2017 and replace it with blitzes to encourage skills development

A one day feile style tournament at the end of the season was agreed on, to give players a taste of the u14 feile weekend. Groupings to be decided at a later date. All players to receive a medal and/or T-Shirt afterwards regardless. For the Feile day / weekend, coaches should provide refreshments for their own team as catering for all clubs is too much to expect from a host club.
